I am looking at these tires as well, just clicked over 8500 miles on my rear tire and will be in the market soon. Will probably go with these on front and rear.

These tires appear to be lower profile than the stock dunlops, is this the case or is it just my perception? Do they lower the height of the bike at all?

If you were going with a 240 on the back then yes, it would be lower, but as far as the front goes, if your using the stock size, then it's the same.

Don't think I can fit the 240, I wish. Maybe a heartland kit in the distant future. thanks for the info.

Yes, a bit they do. On my 06 Softail the replacement for my 200 was a Metz. 210. It lowered the bike some, as I had to lean it to the right to get the kickstand down, or up.

Word of caution: Run the psi stamped on the tire....I made the mistake of running my 210 @ 42 psi..and with a softer compound tire,,,cupping and quick wear followed fast!

I get 4700 on the rear and 15000 on the front with Metzler and 10,000 on the rear and 15000 on the front with dunlop. Enjoy them while they last

Radials...I didn't notice it changed my height at all...didn't measure and it looks the same. I went with 130s on the front, 140s on the rear as prescribed on the fitment chart. They handle the best. I haven't felt this confident in tires in a long time. Yes, I did get 15K from my stockers, but the last 5K I lost confidence and even slid around a few corners. I'd rather get 8K out of tires that I can trust than 15K out of tires I have to wonder about. Just my opinion. I run 40 PSI in the front and 42 in the rear...bike runs smooth as glass.

Default Question for Weskey

Can you post the exact dimensions (frt & rr) of your Metzelers for your Deluxe? I can't get the fitment chart to work on Metzeler's website.

BTW, for some reason I thought the rear tire on a Deluxe was a 150. Guess I was wrong; I hate the way the MoCo uses MU85 instead of the metric sizes on the specs of the Deluxe webpage....thank you.

I put on the 880s as well...love them....while the WWW look great on the deluxe (when clean) I hated cleaning them...so I went with the black walls...and like the look of that as well.. I had seen other Deluxe bikes with the blackwall and like it...which was another reason I decided to change... I would definitely buy another set of 880s...
