Chris, you should cut that windshield down a few inches. I'm like you, I hate mine with a passion, but it's nearly 50 miles one way to work, and it makes the ride enjoyable. I think I cut about 3 inches off, which mine is the nostalgic. I still get wind, but it made the thing way less noticeable and ugly (IMHO). No offense to anyone that like them...just not my forte'
How do you like your Mustang seat? I have been looking at the Wide Vintage solo with backrest for my 07 Heritage, but after having bought numerous seats in the past...$700.00 Corbin that was no better than stock...I am afraid to buy another one. Rode 400 miles to Myrtle Beach and back last Sat. and was ready to get off when I got home. Thanks, Shad.
Man, I love those bags. I could see replacing my studded units for these. What is the multicolored plate at your front brake?
As mplecha said, its a DOD (Department of Defence) sticker. I have to have it so I can get on base (Im in the Navy). When my stickers expire Im going to get the Cycle visions inspection plate. It will look a alot nicer than the one I have. I just didnt want to put the stickers on my fork.

I love the mustang seat. Althoug its been reshaped a little and its been re coverd with leather, it is an awsome seat. Most comfortable I have ever been on. I just got back from Vegas (340 miles one way) which took about 5 hrs and my *** didnt hurt at all. Back rest was a big help (ugly but works great). Over all I am very pleased with the mustang seat and wouldnt hesitate to get another one.
Thank you very much for the info. I plan on doing the same thing that you guys did to that seat. I want the chrome studs, but not the Mustang conchos hanging off and Mustang wants an additional $49 just to leave the conchos off. I'll order the Vintage seat and add my own studs and the factory Heritage concho. Shad
