Default Avon Cobras

Just got back from my local indy where we put some Avon Cobras on the Softail Custom. Wow, What a difference over the Dunlops, Handles like a crotch rocket and they look awesome. The 200 is a little taller and a little wider and the side walls have this snake skin pattern on them. Got a little pissed at Harley when we had to drive the rear axle out with a big *** hammer and a brass punch because they did not put any grease on it and it was rusted in place. An 07 bike and the rear axle is pitted from rust!!!WTF!!! We sanded it with Emory cloth on a lathe but it still has some small pits in it. Also had to put new rear brake pads on, completely wore out at slightly over 10k. Wondered why it did not want to stop. Duhhh! So if you need new shoes, check out the Cobras. Sweet! Ride Safe.

I forgot to tell ya'll that the rear balanced out perfect with no weight!!!!!

I'll be replacing my front and rear come spring and want to go with the Avons but I haven't heard how many miles guys are getting out of them. You'll have to let us know. How about some pics so we can see those bad boys.
