Default Scratched windshield

Hi,

I put nice scratch on my windshield last night. Is there anything out there that can fill it in and hide it a litte.

Thanks

Bob

Novus is a cleaner / polish for lexan, available at HD. There are two levels, so you can use what you need depending on how bad the scratch is.

Level one is a cleaner polish Part number 99837-94T

Level 2 is a scratch remover part number 99836-94T

Works well.

Mcguyers Plastex works real good. But mine is splattered with bugs most of the time anyways. It's a wind shield, not a window... It's gonna get scratched and scuffed chipped, so i would'nt worry about it if I were you. JMHO...

You said "fill it in" so I assume its pritty deep. None of the "scratch removers" deal very well with deep scratches. Might want to save up for a new windshield!

Ditto that. The windshield is going to take a beating over time. Keep it as clean as you can with regular rinsing and you will be OK.

#3 isn't carried under a Harley part number. We stock it under the Drag Specialties part number. I've never tried it. It sells well and I've never heard any complaints for what that's worth. My windshield is completely FU***** with bugs and scratches but I look over it so I could care less.

Good luck.

+1 on the Novus products. It cleans(level 1 product) and puts a slight wax on the lexan which makes bug clean off a snap. If you havent tried it and your one that cleans the shield after every ride- this product is made for you. Also a note, alittle goes a long ways.
