funny you have that link up. i've looked at that several times. That is one nice looking bike. I'm more of a fan of the blue. Tom, i feel the same way. BTW, I love that fatboy!!
Hey bro. Don't let the fact that i own a Rock make you think that my opinion is biased. Your bike is pretty sweet looking, I still think the Rocker is a bit better looking. As far as the things that bother you......the V-Twin sound you won't be able to get anywhere else other then with a Harley.
As far as the Harley seat, you can easily get the standard Rocker seat and close the gap a bit (2inches), or you can have a custom made seat or even get that Heartland Kit for the rocker (comes with a new rear fender and a seat) really good looking set up.
The other thing that would persuade me to switch is the lack of dealers being able to hook you up to get more out of your bike. Come over to the dark side and get on a Rocker.....you know you want to.
great job on your V! I recently had the very decision to make (with the exception that I didn't already own a V). I decided on the Rocker C (my 1st cruiser & HD), because of the modded ones I saw here, resale value (compared to V in Miami), HD culture, and heritage.
you'll probably lose quite a bit at trade-in/ sale of Jackpot and bike is already bad ***. Lower yours or change the rear fender to fix your issues with the rear end and keep her for a few more.
Good advice guys!!! I'll more than likely keep it, pay it off, and then buy a HD in a few years. For now I'm going to try and get 115+ hp/ TQ out of the vic
when i was debating between bikes i was debating between the vegas, jackpot, rocker, and fat bob. I have rode 3 of the 4 but never rode the fat bob(wish i would have). I ended up buyiing the rocker because of the ride and how nice you can make them look after putting a little bit of money down. But i like your idea get some major power and keep it and then buy a hd!
