it rides fine, the wind dosent seem to move me around as much. (I know thats a big argument around here but switching from solid to spoke wheels on the same bike and not having the same issue of wind should tell you something)
its the original fender but I had to make some brackets to raise it an inch. Im a body man so making the fender right wont be too hard.
the fitment isnt perfect but I know a machinist to make new bushings and mill the attaching arms of the caliper. its about a 1/4 inch to the right on the front, and the wheel needs to go toward the caliper side. they said the wheel is for an fxst so any other application would be custom install, if I had known this I wouldn't have bought them but its too late.
here is the before pic.
and what i had to do to the fender, you cant really tell unless you look under it. I plan on fixing it right this winter
here is a better pic of what you can see of the brackets. I just used some round head bumper bolts to put in the original holes and mounted the bracket

I definitely wasn't expecting this much trouble with the front wheel,I'm gonna fix it tomorrow. cant wait to see how that goes. the fender didnt surprise me much.
i don't know for sure but I would bet that a billet wheel wouldn't have the centering problem,

So what would you advise??? I've been told that I could fit a 21"x3.5" in the front with the same stock fender but rising it 1" (just like you did) I see you are rolling a 21"x3"... is there enough room for half an inch more???I'm thinking 50-spoked Fat Daddy's... I've heard and quoted AWW much more expensive than Fat Daddy's, am I correct?

I'll make it a 21" in the end... do you think a DeLuxe fender will work too? or does it have to be a Heritage Softail???
