The baby-moon on the front wheel--is it easily removed? Any performance issues or other structual problems? I do think I like the spoked wheels better. It fits my taste for the traditional American motorcycle look.

Thanks again! Any others out there with thoughts, ideas or pics?
The baby moon is just bling. It is literally a hub cap. Easily removed with the front wheel off the bike. No performance issues it is just like a baby moon on a car with a hole in it.

This bike was originally black. Now it is HD colors - smokey gold (2001 color) and bronze pearl (2004 color).

Good Luck - there is no bad decision. Used prices are pretty good right now (for the buyer).

One thing - I wish this bike was fuel injected.

Either one would be a good choice, but my choice is the Fatboy. Even the BS about the solid wheels and all.

Split the difference and go with the Deluxe.

That's interesting, Sleeko. I like the Deluxe; but, I've had dealers (more than one) tell me that I'm too tall for it and that it's made for a rider who is about 5'10" or shorter. I'm 6'2" and it does feel slightly "cramped" when I sat on one. Perhaps that the "power of suggestion" at work--I don't know.

Your thoughts?

HTiger - it's for definite builds IMO. I'm 6' with a 31" inseam so perfect for me.

If you are serious, I'd take all 3 out for a test ride and see watcha think.

Of course, all can be modified (seat, handlebars etc) if you prefer a certain look . . .

Sounds like with what you're looking for in your original post, the Heritage is the way to go. I love the Fatboy as well, but to me the FB is a better design for a tricked out Custom look and the Heritage is a better "designed for touring bike". Of course, there are a lot of guys on this forum that would prove me wrong with their beautiful tricked out Heritages....good luck and post pics when you get it...

Sleeko, I've a 33" inseam. I guess that explains why it feels a bit snug to me. But it sure is a gorgeous bike!

Thanks for the thoughts and photos.
