00 Softail Deuce Transformation
Before
New tins...
Arrowhead HD wanted $340 plus materials to do the swap, i have the service manual and am an A.S.E. Certified Master Automotive Technician... screw that, i'll do it my self.. I've already done everything else service wise on my bike.
Tear down and reassembly..
Outside of $40.00 in gaskets/o-rings, fuel lines, clamps and fuel filter.. and 5 hours of my time... i dig the end result bigtime!!!!!
Had my buddy ride his sporty over to follow me just in case on the test ride, no problems, no leaks... awesome!!
I fell in love with my deuce all over again, everyone checked it out on my way to work this morning and got 2 girls that said they wanted rides after work... sweeeeeeet.

Thanks guys, i'll snap some day pics tomorrow..
as far as slamming it, i like suspension very much... i'm glad it wasn't slammed last weekend in sedona when we had to detour with everyone else for 6 miles on a rock gravel unpaved road, that just sucked but the pics we got were awesome!

Looks great!!! You don't have to sacrifice your ride, I put a Street Boutique air ride on my Deuce and it works awesome, rides better then stock. Best thing is, they are in Mesa, AZ, I'm assuming since you were in Sedona, you live in AZ.
