Great luxury (having two bikes). To go the opposite direction of a touring bike in a softail, the standard, night train, or custom is the way to go. If it was my money, I would look into a Dyna Wide Glide.

Have fun!
+1 on the Wide Glide. Oh wait, what am I doing in the Softail forum!
If your looking to go to the opposite end of the spectrum from a bagger and only looking at new bikes a Nightrain or Custom are probably your best bets. The Fatboy is a great ride, but its also a bit too close in ride and look to the baggers for my taste.
As for the Dyna's a Wideglide is a decent bike, and a lot like the NT or Custom in looks. But its only made in the much more expensive SE version this year. If your looking for something you can really toss around in tight turns. I think (and its just my opinion) a better choice might be a Fatbob. Looks decent, has big tires, dual front brakes and a better chassis layout for that kind of 'fun'. Even if it does vibrate, a little.
