I'm saving for a street glide myself as a second bike but i would definately go with the fatboy. I am leaving mine like it is. Stripped down with lots of chrome.

Another vote for the Fatty! Got an 05 SEEG for the trips and the Fatty's just right for around town.

have an '04 Night Train (it was new to me 5 weeks ago) with 4K miles on it. was completely waffling between this and a Springer. I love the look of a springer. if I had the $$, tho I'd do a Cross Bones in a heartbeat.

I love my Train and wouldn't swap it for anything but a brand new Bones.

Be great to have two bikes but finances won't allow it right now. With my Fatty I can go to stripped down bar bike to tourer in 5 minutes.

Love my 07 Heritage and was surprised to hear a fellow rider at our last HOG meeting riding a nice SG say that he and his wife who has a really nice Deluxe ride their FLSTC if going on trip. He said it rides better than his SG, which really shocked me.
I was thinking if I got another one it would be a new SG, now I would have to ride one to be sure.....

I think of a Fat Boy as a muscle car on two wheels only it costs less and takes up less space in my garage. It is a great cruiser and fits well with 6' 2" frame.

Soft tail Standard- Gives you a canvas to customize to your liking. You can save some money going with a Standard and use the money saved to customize. Unless you just want to buy a bike and slap on some pipes. Then I would buy a rocker.
