Thanks. Yea, I've been thinking about that. I don't want to break down the forks to get them powdercoated, so I bought some black appliance epoxy to paint them. It will take a full day to remove the front wheel, brake assembly, paint the lowers and let them dry, then reassemble and put back in the garage. My problem is, every time it's nice enough outside to put the bike on a lift and paint, I decide to go riding instead!
I am digging the artwork on your oil tank...How is it applied?? Will the heat cause any issues??
With the 25* difference from when I ride to work and when I leave, I hate to wear all the crap I rode in with.
The bags will hold a cell phone, wallet, 2 long sleeve t-shirts, and a hooded sweatshirt with gloves rolled up in them....They are packed in tight but they fit....
If you are concerned about the paint on your frame rubbing off you might want to wrap some electrical tape around it where the bag is mounted. I got mine with a custom bracket to mount it to the rear footpeg hole and one of the strut bolts. As others have said, can't beat it. It does not hold a lot, just enough.
