I like the Heritage handlebars for my Deluxe, but want them in a 1" 1/4 diameter. Does anyone know if someone makes a Heritage style fat handlebar? I've looked at Chubs and other sites but can't find any. Thanks for any info.
Probably the closest you'll get are these from Chubby. Here is what they say:
"CHUBBYŽ 8.5" BABY APES
PART # WO513
The perfect custom replacement for the stock buckhorns. ChubbyŽ 8.5" Baby Apes maintain the stock height but put your hands & wrists in the perfect position for comfort and control.
A friend put on the 12" Carlini Designs 1.5" bars this summer on his 93 Heritage Softail. I think they have them in 1.25" also. They look incredible, real beefy looking. When I rode it, I was surprised how comfortable they were.
Loved the Carlini's!! I have Harley Fat Mini Apes now which are 34" wide. I have a shoulder problem and the width tends to bother it. That's why I was look'n at the Heritage bars.....they are 2" narrower. Everything I find in fat bars is at least 34 to 40 inches wide. I guess I'll have to switch to the Heritage bars.....I just hate those exposed wires again.
