I received mine today and I am extremely happy with it. The construction is outstanding. The ride is so much more comfortable, I sit back and far enough down to be able to see the speedo without lowering my head. To answer the questions about "Does it hit the fender if i'm a larger person?" I am 265 and only on the largest bumps did the soft part of the seat touch.

 

what kind of plate relocation did you use and where did you get it

 

since that one doesn't have the stitching on it did it cost less. I just feel like anything over 400 bucks is alot to spend on a seat.

Beautiful seat! I just rode 160 miles with mine and what a difference it made. Since I am almost 60 and I was none the worse for the wear after the ride says alot for Danny Gray seats.

I'm definitely going to get a Danny Gray - cool to see how many different designs they are coming out with. This one has a lot of stitching too, and some exotic looking aligator. What kind of leather is it?

Airheads, these seats are custom your imagination (and pocketbook) is the only limit to what they can do for you. I went went leather overlay with the alligator inlay. I also had the gel installed, it is unbelievable how much better the seat feels now

drkenigma1, do a search here on the forum. I got the info for the ebay store here for the plate holder and frame. its a easy install and looks great from under a 100 bucks
