how does this seat compare to fxcw stock seat i want another seat but dont know rather to get fxcw stock seat or go with danny gray hitting the fender kinda scares me

Danny Gray is recovering "my" Heartland Seat (and second seat) with a custom design for me. heartland send their seat to DG and they are working on it now. The Design is attached...
Don't ask for pictures it will be a while (months probably) before it will be all assembled and put on the bike.
yeah, hitting the fender scares me too. i just don't see how it wouldn't dent it.
because nothing but leather and foam hits, the seat pan is no where near the fender. and to keep it from any chance of scratching they supply a clear plastic sticky that really cant be seen once the seat is on

basically what Ken said...i just dont see how its possible to dent the fender.
i actually tested it out by hitting these train tracks near me...hit it at 50 mph where my butt actually lifts off the seat a couple inches and slams back down....definitely hit the fender and after inspection no noticeable damage of any kind.
