I also have a the Danny Gray seat and my bike is lowered almost 2 inches. The seat does make contact with the fender but it hasn't dented it in roughly 2500 miles!
lol red is still faster cus you have pipes, air cleaner and prob pcIII....when I get mine red and black will be the same speed....lawlz well actually i weigh about 225 pounds now so if you weigh less than red will be faster....hahah

good kit? cost? is it a tough mod to do? will I need to relocate the front turn signals so they dont bump the tank on extreme turns?

tank lift is definitely a good call for a rocker bro. I got mine from a web site called Chopperstyle. great people to deal with. the total cost was 60 bucks. they even sell it with extra tubing so you can replace the tube that crosses over underneath your gas tank.
i got it installed on my ride, i'll show ya this weekend.
