Thundermax in a Rocker
i was told it was a little bit bigger than the stock ecm. i know you unplug the stock and just plug tmax in, but the stock ecm has very little extra room around it.the pc3 would be more of a challenge. not sure if you know the rocker is not like all the other softails thats the reason in all the books when you want to buy something for a softail it says
(except rocker).i didnt say it cant be done i said be creative and you can pull it off. im just trying to help another member and rocker owner save some researh time and aggravation.

the T-Max is the same size as the factory ECM....
I "had" the Tmax on my FXSTSSE and also on my pervious bike ('06 Deuce), in the few years I used it I did notice that it felt like it actually tuned itself out of a good tune, it would run good for a time then eventually it just didn't feel the same as it once did...
plus I never felt that it was as good a system as the factory delphi ECM, it relies only on throttle position where the factory system used throttle position and a map sensor..
so anyways, I sold the Tmax and went with the TTS Mastertune. it's basically that same thing as the SERT (it's made by the same people that made the SERT for HD).
it's got some cool new features that the SERT should have had and you can tune your ECM with their Vtune software without the need for a dyno tune.
it's an alternative to spending $750.00 for a Tmax... and the TTS mastertune is about half the price..
did I mention that my bike feels stronger now than it ever did with the tmax.... gas mileage is also up a little bit too, and I haven't even used the Vtune software yet. lol
