Softail Seat bolt!
Does anyone know the exact dimension's of the seat bolts that go in the frame. you know the ones on the sides. I am going to pick some up for my new seat and the stock seat doesn't have any they are plugged

What type of seat are you mounting?
A stock HD seat (at least in 2003) required a nut adapter (PN 52720-00A) that reduced the size in the frame to the smaller screw that is on the seat.
A Mustang seat (for example) uses larger bolts that go directly into the frame so you remove the seat-retention nuts.
I don't know the sizes of the two threads, but the 1/2-13 sounds like the tapped hole in the frame.
