yes it is a 3.5 you have to remove the fender when running a 3.5 which I had did anyway, and to make sure I don't go back I machined th fender tabs off as well
bike looks great! did you do all the work yourself or a shop in jersey? let me know if you know any good shops in jersey. i'm looking to get some work done on my bike. again, your bike looks great!
did all the work my self except install the rims, I thought about it but came to the conclusion that f@#$ up a pair of $1200 rims was not worth it....
as far as good shop in jersey, there are none at least none that can pay to fix something they mess up....and they mess thing up good here in north jersey....
Beautiful bike, I like what you've done to it. Handle bars are nice, they freak me out, but they're nice.
What else you plan on doing to it?
I'd like to see it when you're done. (IF you're ever done?) lol
well I broke things down in stages
stage 1
was pipes, air cleaner & power commander...done
stage 2
was power coat trees lower legs, machine fender tabs, bars, grips, risers & cables. then put it all together.....done
stage 3
was rims, tires.
axle covers & license plate holder (got the powder coated)....done
stage 4
will be lowering kit
stage 5
RSD tins (seat, back fender & tank)installed then sent out to paint then install again...
Lookin' good. I am a fan of the pewter trains as well. Those cables look really long though. Doesn't it annoy you having them in front of your face?
I also agree that the rear end needs slammed and you neeed a solo seat IMHO.
YES!
the cables can be shorter, they dont bother me as much as they bother everyone else
(an obvious hint that they are to long)
I might change them down the line that way I won't feel bad having to re purchase them again....they are long but not to long that I will rush out and buy a new set tomorrow
What axle covers are those? Bike it looking real good!
those are harley axel covers powder coated black the same black as the frame....if you do get them make sure you get the ones that are specific to your year night train, believe it or not there are 4 diferent versions of these spread out over the years.
