I put a sidemount License plate on my Wife's Softail as a result I had to find a new place for her inspection sticker, after much thought I decided to put a piece of Nickel plated plumbing pipe over the left passenger peg on her Softail.
I removed the peg and pushed the pipe onto it, Fits tightly over the peg but still can be rotated.
She will never ride two up anyway.
Cheap and easy and looks good too!
