Default Passing lights on a Fatboy

Can someone take a picture of the passing lights mounted on a Fatboy with a windshield (quick release)? I can’t seem to figure out if the lights go on; before the quick release bolt things or after.
If someone has a scan of the instructions that would be great.
Thanks

The quick release rubber gromits go on the outside of where the passing lamps attach to the fork legs.

Here's a close-up view of my Old FatBoy pass-lamp set-up. You should be able to see the docking grommet on the top outside of the bracket...(as previously mentioned)..click twice for biggest image...
PS: my grometts are A-1 condition, the close-up shows a shadow, which looks like it's damaged..

That the pic I was looking for. Thanks.
Here are the lights I bought. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/motorcycle-parts-for-sale-misc-parts/288458-harley-driving-lights.html
I put the lights on the bike and I don't have as much room as you do under the light. And it was a TIGHT fit to get the light bracket on. And to top it off. If I do get the light bar mounted I think the lower windshield mounting legs my not fit around the light bar on. The lower leg of the windshield mount seems like it hits the light bar bracket.
I am at work right now, but Ill take another look this evening when I get up.
Thanks for posting the pix.

I had the same issue with the shield hitting the light bar. I switched to the Heritage screen (it's wider to accomodate the light bar) and all is good now.

Do you have pictures of your windshield brackets. From what Ive read there are 2 types of brackets. But I am not sure either one will fit. But to be honest I have only seen pictures of 1 type; the type I have. So the ones you have may work. Also, it seems your lights are closer to the center light than the picture above. Thats about how close mine are.

One last thing, does anyone have the spacers and longer mounting screws? I am usng grade 8 screws ti fit this stuff on my bike. I didnt get the longer screws with the light set.

Thanks
-Nick

nickm-

FWIW: All softails are not created equal.. ie: The FLST, & the FXST, all models...Softails but quite different frontends..

The Heritage & FatBoys use the pass lamp bracket (oem) 58082-87 for 1986-2008 Heritage & FatBoy

And then there is an aftermarket bracket that looks almost the same, but not quite for 1984-2008 FXST (all models), & 1980-84 FXWG....

Also, my windshield uses spring-wire clips that lock the top in.

Maybe you can contact the seller to see which softail he was using this bracket on ??
