Default Headlight trim ring

I installed a new visor ring on my headlight and cant get the gap out of it. Is this normal? If its supposed to have a gap, I'm taking it off, it looks like crap. I would love to see some pics of others after installation. Thanks.

Most trim rings have to snap into a groove on the headlight housing. Perhaps you don't have it seated all the way.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll keep trying, if I cant get it out I'll take it off. I'm not willing to settle for a gap, goes with being a perfectionist. The dealer says a lot of things are normal. Cant imagine a part being made, with the intention of it not fitting as well as the factory one. With the comments so far, I take it if its installed correctly, there is no gap. Thanks

Let us know how it goes bro, I put one on mine (took it off and back on several times) and I still have a gap, thought I was doing something wrong, may be the norm,we'll see how you manage.
