Default covers and clamp

Guys,
I want to dress up my 05 standard with the "Flying Wheel" derby and timing cover also "Bar and Shield" handlebar clamp. And was wondering if there was a HD code or rules as to what belong on a standard. Be gentle, I'm still a tad green. Bob

You can put on your bike whatever you pocket book can afford. That's the beauty of the HD. You can personalize them to your own taste. Have fun.

a friend of mine told me two words when it comes to bikes......DO YOU.

meaning do what you like, what you see fit, what you want.

anytime im not sure of things like that he says just DO YOU.

There are no rules, just right. I have Marine Corps stuff, Police stuff, and Native American stuff on mine. Nothing that would mean anything to anyone but me. Do what you want to make the bike an extension of you.

HAVE FUN!!!

Regards,

Bill

Only thing I would say is this. LOOK around a LOT. That way you don't replace something you already replaced 'cause you didn't know the better looking part existed.

After that, it's all you, whatever you like is what looks best. (Unless the mama likes something else more betterer.)

I can't agree with this more. The thing that helped me the most was actually seeing other people’s bikes. Personally, I like the idea of some sort of theme. Meaning, old school, flames, skulls etc... Whatever you decide, try and stay with it throughout the bike. I think that looks best...

JMO,

Ryan

I bought a night train basically because I wanted a standard with a black engine, so when I started buying chrome people were saying "you can't do that, night trains are supose to be black!" Yeah, BITE ME! It's mine, I'll do whatever the F@#k I want. When they spend 15,000 they can do what they want. DO WHAT YOU WANT.
