I have Shure Ec4 sound isolating earbuds which do a great job at blocking out external noises. I got them primarily for flying because I make a lot of international trips and needed something to block the humming of the engines. I don't listen to music when riding but I'm sure they would work good.
My son has sun glasses that have ear plugs & a mp3 player on the glass rails, he got them off the net you cant tell he is listening to music unless he is next to you.
then everyone says are your glasses playing music!!
I have a pair but I'm not sure how well they would be for riding.
If you wear a helment, you will have to let the ear phones ride lower which I don't find very comfortable. Also, being that it's bluetooth, the range is pretty limited. You will need to have whatever you are connecting them to around chest high.
Other than that they are great! I use them with my phone. Listen to music and make calls with them.
