If all you are planning to change is the A/C and V & H pipes the Fuelpak will work great for you and is one of the least expensive ways to go. If you are planning any additional engine upgrades there is more versitility with a PC III or the SE Tuner, but more $ involved.
I have the old SE Race Tuner on my bike with only pipes and AC and it runs the same as my two friends bikes that have the Fuelpak on them. The SE Tuner with dyno time was almost $1000 verses $ 230.00 for the Fuelpak.
I would stay away from the dealer download in Ca its about $150 and the bikes still run lean and hot, for the extra $80 to buy a Fuelpak you will actually richen up the mixture and cool it down alittle.
I tried the Fuelpak and never got the bike to run well. V&H service was terrible for me. They would/could not explain what each of the adjustments did. I changed to a PCIII from Jamie at FuelMoto and it was great out of the box! I like being able to tinker with the fuel injection and the PCIII is really easy to do so. I have created different maps for my bike. I just wish I had gone with the PCIII to start with rather than waste my money on a Fuelpak. Just my .02...
