Has anyone ever had that done? How much is the labor? I mean in hours? I love the look of chrome on the fork and I'm really thinking about having that done this spring.
I did my 91 heritage back in 91.
I sent it to browns it cost me $800 for the lower legs, the tins & bars, I would be curios to as ho much it would cost now.
Don’t forget the braided lines, chrome caliper, chrome handle bar controls & levers, where does it end? Sorry not much help.
Got mine done last Feb. for $240.00. The parts cost me about $500.00 from www.zanottimotor.com. It totally changes the look of the bike. I love it. About 3.5 labor hours worth @ $70/hour.

Softail girl, buy your parts on ebay for way cheaper ! I bought mine new in box HD chrome lowers for $75. bought the beer cans & oil at the stealer.total parts $134.my buddy installed them for $150. Just shop around & find a good wrench close to your location and save some dough.

And how do you find a good wrench? Do they hang out at Tim Horton's too?
I'm always looking on eBay.... I just want to have a good idea before I take the plunge. Thanks.
I haven't gotten a price yet, but I decided I'm getting it done no matter what. I'm going to get the chrome front end package done to my bike this Winter while I have my wheels pulled off getting chromed. I'm gonna get the chrome pulley and bolts installed as well.
The labour charge should be a bit cheaper in the Winter since the shops aren't as busy.
Did the tins, sliders, 21" wheel and avon tire last year for under $400 for new everything in the Heritage. My advice is shop for the parts, if your gonna spend money to have the stuff installed, know the wrench and make sure you can help. If your gonna spend $, you better be learning something.. Stay away from the dealer for mods like this..
