I used the 12" extention wire kit with the male and female ends and just heat shrunk them together and used mech wire to run them thru the bars.......

I too was not at eas turning the switch on and for the 1st time and seeing if everything was right.....I came out OK...

Glad ya got er right....

When I retire from the US Army I think I might follow your footsteps, become mechanic. Hell they will even pay for my certification. It has to be a hell of a lot less stressfull then what I do now.

First time I saw this thread was today, I am glad you got it working. when I did my bars I missed up putting the wires back in the connector. luckily I had taken pictures of the connectors before I took them a part. It was an easy fix for me. I thought it was funny one day I was in an indy shop, a guy wanted to put on new bars and was pricing them. Asked the guy how hard it was to install them and they went all into shorting out the ecm and how much it would cost if he screwed it up. Anyway glad you got it working.
