Default changing headlamp on night train

I want to change the headlamp on my 06 night train. I got an HD billet headlight housing and I wonder if the lamp will fit or do I have to buy another lamp. Also how hard/easy is to do it?

I also bought the billet headlamp shell. The dealer installed it for me and they told me that they used the headlamp from my train.

Hope this helps.

Yes you can use the original lamp. It's not an easy job. I did mine myself and the wiring can be a little tricky if you don't know what your doing. See if your dealer or someone can give you instructions cause you'll need em!

Im taking a motorcycle repair course at the local cominity college. I plane to bring it to class as soon as I get new grips and the service manual. If Im stuck doing something the instructor is pretty good about helping out students.

Is that the new one that just came out? They call it the "Bullet" headlamp in the catalog - P/N 68593-06. Have you got any pics you can post? I am thinking of getting one for my Train.

Cheers!

I've got one of these too. Does anyone know how to change the bulb?

Thanks!
