Default Deuce Handling

Read on another forum that putting a Metzeler 90/90 on the front end (replacing Dunlop 80/90) and switching to a higher viscosity fork oil (like SE) will dramatically improve handling on the Deuce.
Anybody out there tried this? Thoughts / opinions?

I would just note the Deuce is an outstanding handling bike out of the box with the stock set-up/tires. Took the Deuce all over mountainous and canyon terrain here in Colorado and was impressed... for I mostly ride sport bikes. Motorcycle Consumer News noted, when the Deuce was introduced, how great it handled, not only versus other Softails, but versus the cruiser competition. You can try different tires/fork oil but you would be trying to improve a finely balanced bike already.

I just put that tire on my Nighttrain and it handles a ton better. No more wander on the grooved highways and alot less noise out of the front end. Like the way it fills the fender up also. Go for it.
