I have them and I think is one of the best purchases I've made. They really improve visivility, and reduces the blind spot significantly. For me, safety is first!

When I rented a bike in Vegas during the summer, I did miss them a lot. Thank god I still check over my shoulders and saw a car right next to me when I intended to change lanes. Never stop doing that! With the split mirrors, I'd have see it before hand.
