Default Lowering a Crossbones

Does anyone know why Harley doesn't reccomend using this kind of kit to lower Crossbones? the shocks and mounts look same-same to me between the Bones and another Softail.

I believe that the bones has different shock abosorbers that are already lower than standard. PN 54549-04 are for the FLSTSB & FLSTN only...

The Bones already has the worst lean angle of all the Harley line-up I think? I scrape the boards all the time. I don't think lowering would make me a happy rider.
Don't you notice yourself scraping in turns a lot?
