Don't you notice yourself scraping in turns a lot?
Nah maybe I've just lived in the mountains too long. I can touch the pegs down on a Buell if I want to, and keep the boards up on a Softail if I try.

Default Slamming the Bones

I used the same kit and it work great and easy to install. Just make sure you adjust your preload and leave only 1/8 of the threads showing to soften the ride. http://www.jpcycles.com/productdetail.aspx?PID=700-210

I have had mine on since may and will never go back. You will scrape your exhaust and floor boards but you will figure out how far you can lean into a turn. I really have no issues with it being so slammed. I did however get stuck on a very large speed bump when I first install them. It was a ridiculously large speed bump…

Two inches lower total. Although I've scraped the boards a couple of times, it's easy to quickly figure out how much to lean when turning...I think rides a lot better lowered actually.

Do I need to get a shock compression tool before I try to install any of the lowering kits?
