Ive posted before on opinions on lowering my 95 fxdl using either the burly kit or shocks. I have been reading a little on the bare bones up front. I am wondering if it will make any difference in lowering me instead of using shocks. I know i cant totally rule out lowering by shocks but i do like the idea of the solo seat that will push me up a bit. Does anyone have this seat and did it lower you down any?
I put 1 on my dyna and it lowered me alot especially if your not too tall. In my experience i found it a bit hard and rather uncomfortable. I think if i get another lepera ill try the gell insert out cause they are a very nice looking seat on the dynas.
Robbie,
Where did you get the bags and is it on both sides? They look great. I'm eventually going to bob my bike out. It's going to be a total makeover.
Thanks Rod

Thats actually the reason why I went with the Bare Bones. It is harder, but it puts me lower and further back compared to my stock 2002 Dyna seat. The new riding position is much more natural for me.
