Default lowering a 05 Fatboy

I was thinking about lowering my Fatboy but I was wondering if there will be a problem with anything bottoming out when I have a passenger on the back.

lowered mine an inch with the HD Profile Lowering shocks. I adjusted them about half way to stiffen them up b/c they were too soft on the setting out of the box. But they ride pretty good now, I'm about 230lbs. Haven't ridden 2up yet. The look is awesome though.

2004 Fat Boy lowered 2" with no problems, however, bike is set-up for solo riding and I weigh 145 soaking wet.

Get an airride if you still want a good ride. I have the Hi Lo Rider air ride. See the pics in my gallery. http://www.hi-lorider.com/

I have my '05 Anniversary Fat Boy lowered 2", but we don't use this one for two-up. I weigh 300lbs and it rides slightly better than my rigid Shovel.

If I was of normal weight maybe it would ride better, though-lol.

I have a set of 422"s just waiting to go on. I am only doing the rear for now and see how it works. Some friends have the same setup and it works great.
