Fat Boy seat
Hello from sunny Sydney Australia!! After doing some research, I have been told that a stock Fatboy seat (regardless of year), will fit my Softail Deluxe. Rather than paying megabucks for an aftermarket seat, I can purchase a Fat Boy seat, which will sit me up and back, as well as offer some comfort for my bride (as opposed to the brick she's sitting on currently). Does any know whether this is true. I know I'll have to lose the luggage rack, and the pillion is certaily wider, but are there issues mounting the rider's seat?

Don't know if they fit, but part of the reason for buying my Fat Boy was due to a large rear pillion for my wife. The other bikes just don't have much of a seat, except the touring bikes of course

Thanks for the reply. Put the seat on this afternoon, (damn it was hot). Had to modify the rear pillion bracket, some pushing and shoving and hey presto. Took it for a ride, bloody brilliant.
