do have 1 question, i noticed a couple of scratches on my oil tank so ima have it painted also, can chrome be painted over? dont really wanna order another just to be painted?

Yes, chrome can be painted over. Make sure you rough it up good with sandpaper. Use a medium grade, then keep going down to a smoother grade paper so that the final finish is smooth for the paint. Also, use a good quality primer (not a time to cheap-out), then the paint will stick.
