ebay links for side mount does'nt work any ideas on a new set up

If your referring to side mount license plate you can use A Kuryakyn part # 3173. It says it's for Dyna/Sportster but will work.

 

oleschool54...with the swing arm on the rocker being oval instead of round does the clamps for kuryakyn #3173 come oval shaped...if not how would you make them work...I bought a mount from heartland but it mounts at the passenger pegs and sits inside the frame some...I would rather have a swing arm mount..so how did you mount it...thanks

3173 Fits: '90-'05 Dyna & '86-'08 Sportster Models (ea)

it comes with 2 brackets...one fits the lower swing arm just right

Here is where I got my info. I ordered one but have not recieved it yet.

pic of heartland plate holder...not the best pic but all I have right now..it's mounted right under passenger peg,also from heartland...the plate holder also folds in right between the swingarms, so it's not sticking out all the time if you need to

 

I ordered the part # 3173 off ebay also...will be here the 22nd...can't wait!

 

yeah I decided to get the same one also...now just having to wait...same old story...patience...lol
