Floorboard on Fatboy rubbing pipes?
I'm in the process of installing a new exhaust on my bike and I'm having a problem with the right side(obviously!) floorboard. With the new front pipe installed the rear of the floorboard is VERY (1/8") close to the pipe and there isn't enough room to install the heat shield without it rubbing. It was rubbing the old pipe enough to put a pretty bad gouge in it, I don't want the same to happen with this NEW set. Is there something that can be done, ie bending the floorboard mount bracket, to move the floorboard away a bit. It does not look like anything is bent or out of alignment with the floorboard, it's just too close to the pipe. BTW the pipes ARE 2 1/4" Big Growls. Any suggestions??

I'd send off a email or phone call to the pipes maker and ask them.
Wish I could tell ya, whats the make of bike and year and what pipe are you putting on?
