Looking at a Heritage, but i'm concerned about vibration. A few years back i rented a HST, 2002 or 2003 model and rode it on the open road and interstate for 50 miles. The handlebars, footpegs and highway pegs starting vibrating at 65 mph and got worst the faster i went. At 70mph i could hardly stand my feet bouncing around on the footboards.
Question - What speed does the vibration start on the 96 in with 6 speed?

Thanks for your help!!
That's not normal for an 88" or a 96" softail. That Heritage had something else wrong with it.
I think judging from all the responses and my own experiences with "B" version twin cam engines its pretty clear that bike had something badly wrong with it.
All bikes vibrate to one degree or another, but the newer Softail models with their balanced engines have a very unHarley like smoothness to them.
That it showed up on that bike at speeds of 60mph and got worse the higher you went makes me think there was something wrong with one of the wheels, either it was out of true or missing a balance weight.
