Default Which Corbin Seat

I want to put a Corbin seat on my 07 Fatboy but can't decide which one to buy. I'm trying to decide between the Gunfighter or Classic Solo w/Pillion.

Does anyone have pictures of either that you can share?

Thanks

Default Corbin

I have a HD Brawler on my '07 Fatboy and it looks good. As far as the Corbin seats go, width will usually give you a more comfortable ride but may not look as cool.

When I ride two up I use my stock HD seat.

I would go with neither, Corbin's horrible customer service along with shoddy products are really what they are known for now a days.

Dang Chris u must have had a deal with Corbin. They have treated me pretty good.I got a Fast Gun and a Gunfighter + Lady for 2 up once or twice a year. Both had to be trimmed and was done with in 45 minutes each time.No issues with either seat.Went thru 3 brands of seats to get where I'm at with comfort.Just my take

Send a PM to Mojojones, or check in the Softail Standard thread....he has a Corbin Solo, and a Gunfighter (I think). He can give you great advice about the seats. Good luck.

sonar chris speaks the truth again!!! I willing gave $700.00 for virtually the same comfort that the factory seat on my 06 Streetglide gave me...about 75 miles. Traded the bike because I couldn't get comfortable, got a Softail, installed a Mustang seat, problem solved. Should have kept the Streetglide and installed a Mustang seat...would have been much cheaper. MUSTANG!!!

Forgot to add that when I went to sell the seat from my Streetglide after little more than a year, Corbin was selling the same seat right around $500.00!!!!!!!! Customer service was great though...had my seat in 3 days from the time that I ordered and they had to build it. Butt still hurt though. (two times) Three times including when it would only bring $375 on ebay.

I've got both the Hollywood solo and the Gunfighter with the optional backrest and I can't see where anyone would complain about these saddles. With the stock seat, it was so soft that within a few minutes my azz was sore from riding on the frame tubes. Corbin seats are firm, but that's to even the pressure across the width of the saddle........no pressure points. When I get off of my bike after a longer ride, I can see the imprints from the seams of my jeans, an indication of how good the memory foam is. My Hollywood solo is not as comfortable for long rides, due to the nature of the seat; it's lean and low. It looks great however, and is a great around town seat or day trips with a few stops in between.

I also like the easy on and easy off mounting system. You turn a key and the seat is off.....you snap it back on in 3 seconds. Build quality is excellent, seams are all straight, solid leather constructon and you can choose what style leather you want at no additional charge, hardware is solid and beefy. I have no complaints about customer service, they were easy to work with......I didn't have any problems with either seat, so that was never an issue. They are pricey, but to me they are well worth it. The Mustang's are really comfortable, big pillows....but didn't have the aggressive look I wanted and they weren't solid leather.
To each his own, and try to see the saddles in person, but I've been nothing but happy with mine.
