I decided to keep the Fatty and get a Streetglide. I want the SG in vivid black with most components blacked out so I may want to change the paint on the Fatty. I'm either gonna go with Denim Black or re-paint it Vivid Black without pinstripes. I was also thinking about Pewter Demin but I've never seen it on a Fatboy. Either way, I will put one of these tank badges on it.
Forgive me, but I just can't relate to someone else making decisions for my options..
It's a little weird to me.
You need to go in the direction that "you" feel inside...
Somewhere inside of your head, you know what would look best. Maybe you are hesitant to do something different and off the wall. Just go for it!
i think the pewter denim with the gloss black powder would look pretty sick on a Fatty. If you stick with black I think you should go Vivid black. I am not a fan of Denim black with gloss black powdercaoted parts. I think the different blacks look out of place together.
My vote is for Vivid Black. I am a bit biased since my bike is Vivid Black and Red, even though my signature picture looks like it's a solid Red.
I would be concerned on how well the flat paint would hold up. If the flat paint started to get shiny spots in it from repeated cleanups, it would look pretty crappy.

I'd say you've got the eye cuz that bike is sick. I would ditch the decal thats on there.Powder coat the primary, horn, maybe the oil bag, black for sure. I like both badges,I've been thinking about both of those on my bike. As far as color keep it gloss,I'll take care of the flat black.
