I took delivery of my 2006 vivid black Fatboy (FI) on March 31. I found it on the showroom floor. I sat on both a Roadking, and a Fatboy, and the Fatboy was a better fit....in the color I wanted too...what a bonus!
I travel quite a bit for work, so I got a list together, and dropped her off at the dealer to have a few things put on.....5 days later when I finished my trip, she was ready....heres what I went with;
Detachable windshield (clear, medium height)
Screamin Eagle II slip ons
Oil pressure gauge
Aux headlights (with turn signal relocation)
Medium sissy bar, with Fatboy backrest
Gold HD mediallion on back rest (nice!)
LOVE the pipes....I got the baloney cuts ("baloney" yep..thats how they spell it)
Whats next? Probably mirror chrome wheels, and speedo/tach combo.
It only has 77 miles on it, so I really cant give an honest ride report, but so far, this is the best purchase I have made considering my riding style. I love it!
My previous bike was a standard Valkyrie from Honda.
