I am looking for rims for my rocker, i was wondering what size r the rims right now, and what size can i go up to, i remember someone righting he went with a 250mm in the back and a 21" in the front.
I know the rear rim is a 240 but im not sure the dimensions to look for on the tire charts ex:18x? and front 19x? or 21x?, i t would be much apreciated if someone can help me out!!
I beleive the rims on the Rocker are 18x8 in back and 19x2.5 in front?? Its been said that a 18x8.5 will fit on the back with a 250 series tire, clearance will be tight. You can put a 21" on front but the fender has to be relocated or changed. There are some guys on here with more expereince on the subject maybe they can chime in.
franki 22ca, I put new chrome wheels on my Rocker before I took delivery of the bike. Worked with Rob at Hogpro and bought Renegade wheels. Stock rear is 18x8 and no one makes an 8" wide wheel. All aftermarket are 8.5" so that is what I used and put the stock 240 on it. There isn't much room to spare but it fits fine. Front wheel is a 19x2.15 and that is a standard size.
windeed is correct. the stock rear wheel size is 18x8 but no one makes them (at least i wasn't able to find them). that doesn't really matter cause a wheel that's 18x8.5 will fit just fine. Also, you can go with a 250 mm rear tire and it will also fit just fine.
as far as the front, the stock wheel is 19x2.15. you can go with a 21 inch wheel but you might have to play with the front fender a little bit so that it fits on top of the wheel. as far as width for the front wheel goes you can go as wide as 3.5 and you'll be fine.
