Travis, do you happen to have the parts # for the blinker mount? I found this one on J&P's site, 320-185, they look a little different and dont come in black.
I love the front end with no fender, dont really plan on riding in the rain so thats really no problem. I think it looks good with a big or small tire.
That last post, green bones looks sick, not a fan of the pipes but other then that amazing bike.
That green Xbones does look good w/o the fender, but it's got other mods that make it look good. Looks lowered, plus that bobbed rear fender makes a big difference. Still think no fender on a stock Bones looks odd though.
97FXSTB, my bones isnt very stock, i just got it slammed 2.25 from stock. Changed pipes/intake. I do agree that the smaller tires look better but i dont think it looks bad with the fat tire. I do like that back fender, but i also like the look of the bigger stock one. I also cant change back fenders because i need a back seat/sissy bar for the wife.
I agree with 97FXSTSB, I think it would look better with a bigger fender, (like the Heritage Springer Classic) or none at all. Although I love the xbones, something about the front fender set up does not look right to me. I am prejudiced about going with no front fender .
If you use the mentioned signal relocation brackets you won't be able to use the HD quick detach windshield. I'm looking into finding another way to mount the sigs on the fork where they're out of the way of the detachable hardware. Just a heads up in case you sometimes run a shield.
