Traded my 08 Street Bob in for a 09 Fat Boy last month. I don't post much, but I do like to get the great info this forum provides. The new bike is all stock for now, and I don't want to break any rules here so I will just say the mods to the new one will start once I sell the left over 2-up parts from the Dyna. Looking forward to getting some great ideas for the new bike from the Softtall forum now.
Thanks, the fat Boy is a lot more comfortable to ride. I would post the pictures if I could figure out how to do it. LOL I created an album titled MYSILVSTANG, but do not know how to get them to show in a post. I am 43 and as computer dumb as anyone can be.
I really wish my 08 would have had the chrome wheel option.
When you say a lot more comfortable, what do you mean? The reason I ask is that I am seriously considering getting my wife a Street Bob.
I had a constant problem with my hands being numb and left shoulder pain while riding on the street Bob. I could never get a good grip and handle bar position to solve the hand and shoulder problem. Let a friend ride it for the day and he had the same hand numbness. I guess it just vibrates a ton more with the risers and top tree being integrated.
