Pullback Riser or New Handlebar

Pullback Riser or New Handlebar
Hello
I bought a 2002 Heritage and my problem is I don't feel comfortable with the handle bars. AT this stage I have not adjusted the stok handle bars in any way (I am planning to pull these back).
But besides that I feel the stock bars are a bit wide for my arms. I am only 5'-4" tall. Should I install a pullback riser or get a new handle bar which is narrower too.
Any one come across this situation or know anybody had a similar problem. Any help would be appriciated.

I'm 5'8" and even pulled back I'm not real comfortable with them. Don't like the look anyway. So I'll most likely change mine out soon.
I put a back rest on my bike (08 Heritage) which pushed me forward about an inch. New seat that pushes you forward may help also.
If I'm not mistaken the pullback on the stock bars is only 5" and I think they're 31.5" in width. I've sat on a couple RKs with the RK touring bars and they really felt good. I've been told these will bolt onto the Heritage. I'll be doing more investigation.
These look nice, though the 16" pullback may be too much.

We're going to Americade in June and hopefully I'll find a Heritage there with the perfect fitting bars on it. Nothing better than actually being able to try them out for size.
Local dealer may be able to hook you up too. When my wife was looking for new bars they brought out a bunch of different bars and had her sit on her style bike with them.
Bars themselves aren't that expensive until you get into new cables and having to pay for installation. But after you sit on a properly fitted bike you quickly realize that it's worth it.

please please help here too. I have 2009 Softail Deluxe love my bike but stock handlebars too wide . I am only 5 ft tall and not comfortable with the wide bars. I went to Harley dealer and sales ordered me 2 styles of bars... terrible looking..... changes the whole look of my bike . any suggestions out there to help me would be appreciated . Don't want to have to change the wiring looking at minimun cost. Thanks MJJCR
