Default I washed my bike this weekend.....

What do ya'll think.

I washed my bike this weekend.....-fatboy1.jpg

It's a vicious circle. Washing it makes me ride it more. Riding it more makes it dirty, so I have to wash it more.

Yep, I need to wash mine but living in the NW I gotta ride everyday it's dry & don't wanna wash it when it's raining outside. I too have a viscious cycle. I'm riding tomorrow & maybe I'll fiind the time prior to my ride to give it a bath......Probably NOT though!

Talking

I think bikes look better dirty..(I rinse mine off from time to time, usually by getting caught in a rain shower).I am not talking mud caked all over but I like a bike that looks like it is ridden and not idolized..but then,I think chrome sucks...slowly replacing all chrome on my bike with black.....hey,thats just me,YMMV...:>)

Looks nice and shiney. Too cold here to do that to my bike. Hopefully in a few months.

I wash mine when ever it gets dust or dirt and after riding in the rain. I go to the car wash and mist rinse to cool it off, degrease it, tire cleaner, foam brush, high pressure soap, high pressure rinse, spay wax, clear coat, mist rinse, and then towel dry. Some day I want to try the brushless auto wash with me in a rain suit.

Usually wash it once a month or so when the brake dust on the whitewalls gets on my nerves. I don't mind a little dirt, but when I do wash it I look afterwards and say "Wow, Shiny! I need to do that more often". But I don't.
