i painted the flat bracket black and left the rest..looks factory i like that
i am replacing the swivel part with the chrome ones they will look better and im powdercoting the signals gloss black to match the springer front end..handlebars look way cleaner..i cheated and tucked my wiring under the tank instead of trying to pull it all back through the harness towards the battery..
thanks to original poster this is truly a quick cheap mod anyone can do..

OK finaly installed the relocations, on the bottom windshield mount of coarse. With some fancy placement I'm still able to install the windshield with about 1/8" clearence on the signals.

OK so here's what it looks like without the windshield, have to wait till tomorrow to mount it back on. I don't ride with it at the best of times but it's nice to have the option
Would also appreciate some detailed pics of using the windshield. Have an FL springer (same as used on the bones) and modified my turn signals to the same area. Don't have an HD windshield and would like to use one if possible for long trips.
Too bad this will not work with windshield set-up...dang !
I"m gonna say the same thing my buddy told me when I told him I may get a Sportster, but in regards to using windshields, "You might as well get breast implants and wear a wig", lmao.
