Question Installation of Fuel Pak in Rocker C

I've attempted to install the fuel pak since I bought the vance and hines Big Radius. The Harley dealer told me it wouldn't fit and I need to buy their SERT but after calling fuel pak tech, they told me that though it is difficult it will fit and just follow their instruction sheet for the rocker. Just to complete the first 6 steps took me 3 hours and only after removing the allen cap bolt that holds plastic guard in place. Step 7 says to make sure all wires are tucked inside this guard and away from the rubber bump-stop but it seems like there is no room and I am stuck with the grey and black housing connector on the outside. Any suggestions from someone who has fitted this in their Rocker??

I can't help you with your current installation, but there is a company that sells a custom holder for the powercommander that bolts to the tranny. Since the FuelPak and PowerCommander are basically the same size it should work. I can't remember the name of the company, but PC tech support gave me the number when I was trying to mount the PC to my XBones. You might want to contact them for the number, just don't tell them that it is for the FP The company was selling the box for around $70 and made it waterproof and all.

Thanks for your advice on the custom holder for the PC but I'm still going to give it another shot at tucking it in after phoning and talking to the Fuel Pak tech. He insisted it will fit but I also mentioned to him that if there was anyone who could install this in the one and half hours that they mention in their instruction sheet, I would give them a Gold Medal.

What wrong with a sert? Mine works fine. That sounds like a big hassle to maybe save a few bucks. Just sayin

Yeah, unfortunately I took the advice of Vance and Hines since I ordered their Big radius 2 in 2 pipes. Bought it anxiously and paying the price now.
