Anyone have thunderheaders on a softail? Post pics please. Wife is looking at these for her Deluxe, but I want to see how they look on a real bike first. Also, tell me how you like them, what you do or don't like about them, and about the sound of them
Sorry no pics. A friend has one and it seems to work great. If it were me, Id get a D&D Fatcat. A regular poster here has one on a red softail and it looks really nice...
They are everywhere. Lots of people have them. They get good reviews for performance but mediocre to bad reviews for durability. Severl reports and observations of pitting, corrosion, rust, etc.
But they aren't too expensive so if you had one that started to rust out on you, just buy a new one.
Thanks for the pics guys
Still trying to figure out what this gal wants on her bike. She Thought she liked the Thunderheaders, but today she saw a set up close, and din't like them at all. She doesn't like the back end as in her opinion, it looks thrown together and unfinished.
Love the look, sound and power increase. Not excessively loud, nice low rumble. Like my buddy likes to say, "Sounds like a harley should!" Here are some pics:
