Those pipes totally change the look of the bike, in a good way of course. Where did you buy your Venturi from? The cheapest i saw was just a shade under 400.

I got the pipes, AC and Fuelpak from Robs Cycle Supply on eBay. Great prices and quick shipping, definitely worth checking out.

there is an updated one from RSD that has small little holes around the rim but if you like the original one it can be had for $330 on ebay brand new

Default Something else

I took the air cleaner in a different path by center drilling a MoCo finned derby cover. Then turned the outside down to get rid of the original mounting holes.

Default My bones

Well since I had already added the derby and points covers I thought what the heck. Let's see how far we could take it. Had I had more time to do it.(Was sneakin' it in to work) I think I could have done it a bit better. But that's the good part about doing your own......I'f ya don't like something about it. Ya redo it. Which is why I'm putting together a new set of tins. I won't mess up my originals, And I can refine the new till I"M happy. I may never build one from the ground up. But I'll always have one off parts. Back in 95 I built up a metric cruiser bagger. Won every show it went in. Rode it daily.....it was mine. I mocked up for months prior to the final build. But when it was finished.......It was a good looking bike. And most folks couldn't beleive it was metric and not factory.
